Both of Turkey and Switzerland go all out for a win in one of Group A last act, knowing that any other result will eliminate them from the competition.
European Championship 2020
Date: 20/06/2021
Kickoff: 17:00
Venue: Baku Olympic Stadium
Switzerland come into this game on the back of a 3-0 loss to Italy. They currently now sit in third place in the group with just one point following the 1-1 draw in their opener against Wales.
The Swiss army failed to attack Italy the way they did against Wales and Roberto Mancini’s men sensed that they were being shown too much respect and took advantage of it. Switzerland cannot afford to show that same respect to Turkey otherwise the players will be on holidays earlier than they would have wished.
A win here will likely be enough to secure one of the four best third-place finishes, and they could even finish second if they can recover the plus five goal difference that Wales have over them.
After suffering defeats to both Italy and Wales, Turkey now find themselves staring elimination from the competition in the face. A win here will secure them 3rd place in the group but it might not be enough to secure one of the four qualifying positions awarded to third placed nations.
Turkey were billed as dark horses heading into the Euros due to their impressive form heading into it, but inevitably may now be exiting at the group stages.
A win can give them a glimmer of hope but to win a football game, you have to first score a goal, something the Turks have not been able to do in this tournament.

Betting tips
This match could go anywhere. It could be a high scoring one just on the basis of what is at stake but going off what the teams have displayed this Euros, we think it would be a lowkey affair with few goals, if at all there are any.
Switzerland have showed glimpses of attacking promise even though their finishing has let them down while Turkey’s defense has looked totally porous throughout. Switzerland should be able to get past them and add to Turkey’s misery. Back Switzerland to win at 7/10.
