The weekend sees the English Premier League return after what seems like an infinite International break. Can Manchester City get three points at Leicester and seal what looks already like an insurmountable lead?
We’ve found three bets which come in at 5/1 or better for Saturday’s game at the King Power Stadium, with the game kicking off at 5.30pm GMT.
If you’re not a William Hill customer already, then you can sign up here to take advantage of these prices and bet £10 to get £30, an offer that is exclusive to the popular sportsbetting site.
Let’s ‘Take 5’ and find the value in what should be a thrilling game in the East Midlands.
Both Teams to Score and 4+ Corners Each Team (5/1)
Last time these two teams met in the Premier League, Leicester won 5-2 at the Etihad Stadium, humbling their hosts and leading many to declare Manchester city out of contention for the title.
Fast-forward a few months and The Citizens looks odds-on certainties to lift the league title and both their two challengers, Manchester United and their opponents on Saturday, Leicester, would need to win every game to have a chance of winning, couple with a collapse from Pep Guardiola’s side.
While Manchester City are rightly 3/5 favourites, both teams have some serious attacking talent. The away side will be a massive threat, with Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Raheem Sterling all likely to be difficult to stop, but all three of those players have been all over Europe this week. Many of Leicester’s players have been training at home and we can see the home side being fresh and tough to stop.
In a similar game to the 2-2 draw they had against United, The Foxes are good bets to score along with Manchester City and both sides enjoy getting corners this season.
Jamie Vardy 3+ Shots and Wilfred Ndidi 5+ Tackles (8/1)
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy may not have had the stellar season he did in 2020/21 when he won the Golden Boot, but he’s still a huge threat and scored a hat-trick at the Etihad earlier this year in the 5-2 victory.
Vardy is an outstanding bet to take three shots in total, while Wilfred Ndidi will have his hands full in midfield with the aforementioned De Bruyne and Gundogan to stop, as well as Bernardo Silva too.
Take both Leicester men to get in amongst it early and you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.
BTTS, Çağlar Söyüncü to be Carded and 10+ corners (11/1)
If we’re already certain that both teams will score and there’s a great chance of corners, then adding in one of the game’s toughest competitors to get his name taken should be way shorter than the excellent 11/1 on offer via William Hill.
Turkey’s Çağlar Söyüncü has been booked twice this season, and one of those yellow cards was in the game up in Manchester. Add to that fact the yellow he picked up in midweek for his country as they blew a lead at home to Latvia and you have real potential for another card to leave Paul Tierney’s pocket.
Tierney has produced an incredible 74 yellows in just 19 Premier League games so far, so cards in general are likely to be flying about like it’s Christmas Eve in Bedford Falls. Don’t mis the chance of a real pick-me-up for your betting weekend!
You can make all these bets before kick-off at the King Power Stadium which is at 5.30pm GMT on Saturday by betting £10 and getting £30 at the William Hill website with this exclusive offer.
May all your bets be live until the final whistle!
