With Carlo Ancelotti at the helm, Everton have flirted with the possibility of qualifying for next seasons Champions League. Teams such as Leicester City, Manchester United and Chelsea all dropped points this weekend, so can The Toffees stick it to The Saints on Merseyside in the Monday Night Football, or will Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side come out on top?

Who’ll come out on top as two sides who should be fighting for the European places clash at Goodison Park? Let’s take a look at the value.
Everton to Lead After 15 Minutes (5/1)
The Toffees have scored early goals in the first ten minutes of games against Leeds, Wolves and neighbours Liverpool in the first two months of 2021, and against a side who frequently let in the first goal of the game, they are excellent value to repeat the trick.
Ancelotti’s side are a hugely dangerous side on the break, with players like James Rodriguez, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison all quick, strong and extremely difficult to dispossess, getting the first goal is key to the Merseyside team’s plan of attack. Ancelotti’s men know that two wins in their games in hand on the current top four will put them in the Champions League places, so will go for it from the off.
James Rodriguez and Lucas Digne both to assist a goal (9/1)
Everton have scored for fun whenever both the Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez and French left-back Lucas Digne are in the side. Both players are high in the assists table this year, with the former Real Madrid player Rodriguez setting up four goals in 18 matches and Digne providing the ammunition for six goals in two fewer games.
Both men could well have a field day with Southampton’s defence having already conceded nine in one game against Manchester United, so an early goal will see Ancelotti’s men scent blood.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score, Mason Holgate and Jan Bednarek to be carded (35/1)
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin back in the side and determined to score, adding in two players who are going to have to shackle both Calvert-Lewin and Danny Ings to be booked is a strong move.
Standing at 35/1, this bet plays the odds brilliantly, with Holgate having four yellows in just 14 games and Bednark having gone into the referee’s book three times and been sent off to boot. Calvert-Lewin has 13 goals in the Premier League already in just 21 games and put together with two of the likeliest players on the pitch to be cautioned, the price of 35/1 is way too large.
