Manchester City will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host Burnley in this tricky-looking league encounter.
Premier League 2019/2020
Date: Saturday 14th, March
Kick-off: 16:00 pm
Venue: Etihad stadium
TV Channel: Sky Sports
Beaten 2-0 at Old Trafford last weekend by their city rivals, Manchester City have had a full week to put behind the disappointment of Sunday, and even some extra days to prepare for this one after the earlier rescheduled midweek game with Arsenal was called off, no thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
Thus, the Citizens will be optimistic of coming out top yet again over Burnley and thus set the motion towards ending their below-par season on a high.
Burnley come here after holding Tottenham to a 1-1 draw last Saturday, a result which stretched their unbeaten streak to five in all competitions and seven in the topflight. They might have beaten Southampton and Bournemouth during that run but the trip to Manchester is altogether a very different test, and one which they will wish not this time.
Sean Dyche’s side have conceded 17 goals in four trips to this venue across the last two seasons, losing all but one of their last nine games to City, so what they come up with in this one is still in the melting pot.
Aymeric Laporte, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Agüero are doubts for Pep Guardiola’s side, the latter who picked up a thigh injury in last weekend’s loss.
Leroy Sané should be fit enough to make the matchday squad.
Ben Gibson, Matthew Lowton and Jóhann Gudmundsson are ruled out of this game.

Burnley have lost just one of their last eight games in all competitions, winning half of them. Burnley’s last five league games (DWWDD)
It will be quite a surprise if City fail to romp to an emphatic victory on Saturday, despite Burnley’s decent form of late. The hosts showed glimpses of their usual self at Old Trafford but were found a United defence just too difficult to get at. It will be a different thing against a team such like Burnley, so a straight win for the Citizens (1/6) is the first tip for this game here.
Raheem Sterling has now gone 14 games without scoring for City but can be backed to find the target and break that duck anytime here for 21/20.
