Austria face a tall order in trying to outfox an Italy team on a tear, and the prize should they upset the odds is a place in the last eight.
European Championship 2020
Date: 26/06/2021
Kickoff: 20:00
Venue: Wembley Stadium
Italy topped their group winning all three games, scoring seven goals and conceding none. So you have to agree the magnitude of work Roberto Mancini has done there has been nothing short of incredible but it would amount to naught if they don’t win anything.
His Azurri side have now equalled their longest unbeaten run ever (a run of 30 games) and they will try to break that record outright in order to book a place in the quarters. This will be their first game outside of Rome in the Euros so it will be interesting to see how they handle the feel of not having home advantage on their side.
Austria did well well to qualify from their group as runner-ups, having won two of their three games, losing only to group leaders Netherlands.
Unfortunately, Das Team do not have history on their side as this is the first time they have progressed past the group stages in a major competition in almost 70 years. Coming up against probably the most in-form nation in the world at the moment, it could just be a long evening in London for the Austrians.

Austria have only kept two clean sheets in their last 10 games.
Betting tips
Austria would need a miracle to have any chance of upsetting the odds and beating Italy, perhaps. Scoring past the Italians might be the hardest thing to do in international football right now.
The Italians have won 11 straight games and have kept a clean sheet in all those games, so their defense is so solid and it could be almost impossible for the Austrians to get past. Bet both teams not to score at odds of 8/13.
