HUNGARY VS FRANCE PREVIEW AND BETTING TIPS

Home » News » HUNGARY VS FRANCE PREVIEW AND BETTING TIPS

France began with a victory over rivals Germany and now they face Hungary who will desperately want to bounce back after collapsing in the final 10 minutes against Portugal.

European Championship 2020
Date: 19/06/2021
Kickoff: 14:00
Venue: Puskas Arena

Hungary contained Portugal for 80 minutes and even took the lead at a point, only to see the goal ruled out for offside. They seemingly collapsed after that and let their opposition score three that stood in the final ten minutes of the game.

It was always going to be an almost impossible task for Hungary to progress from the Group of death, and after losing heavily to the European champions, they have to pick themselves up quickly against the World champions, otherwise their chances of qualification are basically over.

France secured a 1-0 win over Germany in Munich, a score one which didn’t show the extent of their dominance in the game; they practically should have won the game by a greater margin.

Didier Deschamps’ men were in absolute control of the game against France and should have the same level of control against Hungary. If France are able to get an early goal, we could be in for a very high scoring game.

Betting tips

We’re expecting France to dominate, and score a few goals in this game, given how the Hungary defence collapsed against Portugal. Four of Hungary’s last six matches have produced over 2.5 goals, while two of France’s last three fixtures have also witnessed at least three goals. Let’s snap up France to lead at both halftime and full-time for odds of 20/23.
