Beaten FA Cup finalists Chelsea will be aiming to gain a measure of revenge against Leicester City as the race for the Champions League spots hots up.
Premier League 2020/2021 campaign
Venue: Stamford Bridge
While Thomas Tuchel’s arrival at the bridge has seen an impressive measure of progress, defeat at Wembley in the final of the FA Cup has threatened to throw that out of the window.
This is the German’s most testing week since taking charge of Chelsea in January, with defeats to Arsenal and the Foxes lately stunting his good works with the Blues.
However, they get a chance of taking a second bite at the cherry should they lose out on the Champions League places when they play Manchester City in the showpiece of this season’s edition, but beating the Premier League champions is in no way cast in stone.
For Leicester, avoiding defeat will be key as a final day clash with Tottenham isn’t be best fixture they wish for, but ensuring their destiny remain in their hands heading into that one will more than boost their chances.
The Foxes had sat comfortably in the top-four for the majority of the season and even looked like challengers for the title but bad results in recent weeks has seen their position become less secure despite their last league game seeing a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
Chelsea have an almost fully fit squad with only Mateo Kovacic out injured.
Jonny Evans is unlikely to play after picking up a slight injury in the FA Cup final. James Justin, Harvey Barnes and Cengiz Under are still sidelined.

Leicester have never won three consecutive games against Chelsea in their history.
Since Leicester secured promotion to the top flight back in 2014, only one of their previous six meetings against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge has seen more than two goals. At odds of 4/5 , under 2.5 goals seems like the best bet for this one.
