Borussia Monchengladbach are surprisingly, still in the mix for the Bundesliga crown following their 3-1 victory over Frankfurt last time out, and will now face one of their sternest tests yet when fifth-placed Leverkusen come to town.
Alassane Plea, Marcus Thuram and Rami Bansebaini were the goal scorers that day, with the goals taking their tally for goals scored to 52, the fourth-best in the whole division.
However, they will have their work cut out when facing the visitors who have taken maximum points from seven of their last nine league fixtures, ending the first round of Bundesliga games since the over two months break with a thumping 4-1 win away at Werder Bremen last Monday.
Leverkusen remain in fifth with 50 points to their name, and will leapfrog their opponents into third place with their 16th league win of the season here.

Betting tips
This game should produce a real cracker in the Bundesliga this weekend, with both sides enjoying lots of fortunes as they bid to gate-crash the title race. Both teams have a number of attacking options and are likely to exchange goals, so backing the Both Team To Score market at odds of 4/9 is our first pick here.
On the goalscorer markets, Alassane Plea is 13/8 to find the net anytime, and is one player worth picking on. The Frenchman hit his ninth league goal in the win at Frankfurt last time, and will undoubtedly be raring to go once again.
